Komplett Peis is an Oslo fireplace company - wood stoves, built-in inserts, chimney rehabilitation - selling the thing most fireplace websites forget: the installation. INFIGO built the site it runs on.
01 · The context
Nobody buys a fireplace. They buy a working fireplace in their own wall.
A fireplace is not an online purchase in any normal sense. It involves fire regulations, a chimney of unknown condition, and a crew in your house. The customer is not comparing products so much as deciding whom to let near a hole in their roof.
Which means the website’s job is not to be a catalogue. It is to establish that these are the right people - approved installers, a survey before any promise - and then to make the next step trivially easy to take.
02 · The build
One conversion, everywhere.
The site is built around the befaring - a free survey, offered as a video call covering all of Eastern Norway, so the first step costs the customer nothing but a form. Services, the showroom, articles and frequently asked questions: every path is a different length of run-up to the same booking.
Around that core sits the content a considered purchase needs. Service pages for installation and chimney rehabilitation, a showroom at Jar that can be booked around the clock, and an editorial layer answering the questions people actually search for before they know which company to trust.
03 · The long haul
Live, and doing its job.
The site is live at komplettpeis.no today, on the build described here. It is a young site by this portfolio’s standards, which is its own kind of statement: this is what an INFIGO WordPress build looks like now, not a decade ago.
