Gravograph is the engraving arm of the Gravotech group, a global brand present in dozens of countries. INFIGO built its Norwegian online store - a multilingual WooCommerce platform that does not just list engraving materials but configures and prices them to order.
01 · The context
Selling made-to-order is not selling off-the-shelf
Most of Gravograph’s catalogue is not a finished product on a shelf - it is material cut, sized and processed to a customer’s specification. A normal shop lists a thing and takes the money. This one had to ask what the buyer actually needs and work the price out from the answer, in several languages, for professionals who reorder constantly.
02 · The build
Multilingual WooCommerce, plus custom plugins
We built the store on WordPress and WooCommerce, multilingual from the ground up rather than bolted on afterwards, and wrote custom plugins for the parts a stock shop cannot do: bulk ordering by product number, saved baskets with full order history, and the cost calculator that turns a specification into a price. The result behaves like a procurement tool for regulars, not a boutique checkout.
03 · Beyond the checkout
Courses and answers
The platform also runs a course calendar with sign-up for upcoming sessions, and an FAQ section managed entirely from the admin - the team answers the common questions once and keeps them current without a developer.
What we delivered
- A multilingual WooCommerce store for an industrial B2B audience.
- Bulk ordering by SKU, saved baskets and order history.
- A cost calculator that prices cut-to-order material from its specification.
- A course calendar with sign-up and an admin-managed FAQ.
- A build from 2015 that is still the live store today.
