A small studio.
A long list of years.
One engineer answers for everything. Coders join a project when a design needs turning into code, or when something interactive needs writing: an animation, a script, a Vue component. No account managers, no handover department, no growth plan. Thirteen years, the same hands.
Why we exist
It started with a refused raise.
After university Robert built WordPress sites for a salary and asked for a raise. The answer was no: how would that look to the other employees. The work itself was full of things that could be automated or done better, and nobody was interested in either. So he went on his own: two years under the INFIGO name inside an academic business incubator, then, on 8 August 2013, a company of his own in Gdańsk.
Computers were less a career choice than the family trade. His parents met at computer-science studies, and his father was teaching him to program while he was still in primary school.
What INFIGO has sold since then is the thing that was missing in that office, and in most services we have bought ourselves: someone who names a date and keeps it, then answers for the quality. Every trade has the terrace promised for June that is still not there in September, with a story attached. Software has plenty of those. We decided not to be one of them: a written scope, a date we keep, and a site that is still running in year five.

Engineering principles
What we won't do.
Some of these are tastes. Most are boundaries we've tested in production for a decade. When a prospect argues with them, we're usually not the right hands.

No page-builders.
Elementor, Divi, WPBakery. Every one of them turns into a rebuild in three years. We write custom themes and custom Vue components. Slower to start, years longer in service.

No plugin piles.
Forty plugins mean forty update streams and forty future conflicts. We pick five we trust (ACF, WooCommerce, CF7, a couple more) and write the rest ourselves.

No discovery theatre.
There is no mandatory workshop series and no six-week discovery billed separately. A written scope takes the senior a week, and we'd rather spend that week on your platform than on a deck.

No handover department.
The person who ships the platform is the person who maintains it. There's no ticket queue, no tier-one support, no rotation. Same hands, one email address.

No surprise rewrites.
When something the site runs on drifts out of support, we tell you in advance. Migrations are scoped, budgeted, and land inside maintenance hours, not as emergencies.

No retainer padding.
If your platform is quiet for a month, you pay for a quiet month. Unused hours don't roll up into a "strategic review" invoice at year-end.

2011
First invoices, through an incubator.
Two Norwegian hotel sites and a dog school, billed under the INFIGO name through an academic business incubator. The client on that first invoice, Semway, is still on the books.

2013
Registered in Gdańsk on 8 August.
After two years in the incubator, a company of its own. Norway had been part of the work since the first invoice, and the Semway site itself was built the year before.

2014
Aseke, still running today.
A bilingual industrial catalogue from before the WordPress years, built on CMS Made Simple. The company still updates it itself, twelve years later.

2015
La Danse goes online.
A WooCommerce store for an Oslo dancewear boutique. Trading ever since on the same codebase, maintained by the people who built it.

2016
Jølstad's funeral planner.
A guided planning application for Norway's largest funeral bureau, where families choose from hundreds of products. Six years later the same group got a whole platform of sites, maintained by INFIGO to this day.

2018
Agrosec, designed and built.
A complete site for a Polish grain-drying supplier, one of the few projects where INFIGO did the design as well as the build.

2023
Xcruiter taken over.
A multi-tenant recruitment platform inherited from another developer, foundations rebuilt, new features shipped ever since. The biggest project on the books today.

2024
Sverdrup Steel, six languages.
A multilingual B2B catalogue with in-house steel calculators. One custom theme, no plugin pile.

2026
Year thirteen.
Forty-one case studies, this site in two languages, and the same rules applied to our own products: GoFirmo, a monitoring app, is in development, and GoAuditor audits sites from the command line.
